Effective Monday, November 30, 2009, ITS will decommission the servers that support Symantec Antivirus software, versions 7 through 10.
PC users who have not yet upgraded their antivirus software to Symantec Endpoint version 11 should do so immediately. Old versions of antivirus software are ineffective against the latest viruses and malware.
USC account holders may download free copies of Symantec Endpoint, version 11, for home and office use at software.usc.edu.
